A homebrew-capable Switch and an active network connection. Results concern DNS reachability only and do not guarantee protection from bans. Store build is 1.0.4; upstream also has a newer 1.1.0 release.

Install & use Switch 90DNS tester

  1. Install the pinned testerPut Switch_90DNS_tester.nro in /switch/Switch_90DNS_Tester/. This download preserves store version 1.0.4; upstream 1.1.0 remains a separate release.
  2. Choose the network to inspectConnect through the intended network profile. Set DNS or Atmosphère DNS MITM separately using its own instructions.
  3. Read the resolution resultsOpen the tester through hbmenu and review the tested Nintendo service domains. This diagnostic does not install DNS settings.
  4. Retest after network changesChanging profiles or DNS configuration can change the result. Passing a domain test does not guarantee protection against bans.

If something does not work

Check the active network profile, connectivity and DNS MITM setup for unexpected results. The result concerns the domains tested at that moment, rather than every possible console service.

Project, images & file verification
