Multiplayer replacement used by supported retail games and CTGP. Use the game’s supported patch method.
Compatibility and player statusRetro Rewind’s server is a separate community service. Keep its launcher, game data and updater matched.
Retro WFC statusA separate multiplayer service with its own compatibility list, patches and friend-code environment.
WiiLink WFC game listMessage Board, News, Forecast and other restored channel services use the model-specific WiiLink setup. They are separate from game multiplayer.
Channel setup Service statusA no-homebrew route for a limited set of retail-disc games, including Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is not a universal patch for every Wii game.
95.217.77.1811.1.1.1These values were corroborated in the maintained guide on 2 November 2026. Error 20100 or 20110 can indicate that this route does not support your game.
For supported retail discs, use the archived Auto Wiimmfi Patcher below: copy its apps folder to SD/USB root, launch it in Homebrew Channel and let it patch the inserted disc before booting. This is a launch-time disc patch, separate from DNS configuration.
For your own disc backups, use a current supported loader’s Private Server → Wiimmfi setting. Keep its console-specific cIOS requirements separate from disc-patcher setup.
Existing USB Loader GX resourceThe maintained guide documents Wiimmfi patch v4 with Priiloader 0.9+ and Wii System Menu 4.3. Follow your exact model’s guide; do not use a stock Wii setup on vWii.
Current method requirementsThe service’s MKW page documents primary 5.161.56.11, secondary 0.0.0.0, then retail-disc launch. This selects WiiLink WFC, not Wiimmfi. Its DNS method is for real Wii/vWii discs, not Dolphin.
Use the error lookup for the service you selected. Wiimmfi error 23904 indicates an outdated patch. Do not change servers or replace saves blindly; back up your licenses and saves first.

Patch a supported inserted retail disc at launch for Wiimmfi online play.
Wiimmfi
Requires: Homebrew Channel, an internet connection and a Wiimmfi-supported retail disc. Check the live compatibility list for the game you want.
Compatibility. OSC lists Wii / vWii / Mini. A stock Mini has no normal network interface; the label alone does not provide connectivity.
Storage and launch. Extract apps/wiimmfipatcher to SD or compatible USB, then launch the app in Homebrew Channel with your disc inserted. Let it patch and boot the game. This differs from the no-homebrew DNS route described above.
